Brains over Emotions.

In life’s journey, I’ve learned a truth,
To guide my steps in age and youth.
Emotions wild, they often sway,
But with my mind, I find my way.

No longer lost in passion’s tide,
I let my intellect be my guide.
For every choice, I weigh and think,
Before I leap, before I sink.

Not every heart can understand,
The wisdom in a steady hand.
But I have learned, through trial and strife,
The value of a thoughtful life.

So when I face life’s twists and turns,
My logic shines, my spirit learns.
No longer ruled by whims alone,
My intellect has grown and shown.

I walk a path both clear and bright,
With rationality as my light.
For though emotions have their place,
It’s reason that will win the race.

So let me not be led astray,
By fleeting feelings, come what may.
I’ll use my brains to chart my course,
And navigate life’s mighty force.

In every moment, every choice,
I’ll heed the wisdom of my voice.
With logic as my guiding star,
I’ll journey on, both near and far.

For I have learned, and I decree,
To not let emotions master me.
Instead, I’ll wield my mind with care,
And make decisions, strong and fair.

So, here’s to brains and sober thought,
In every battle, big or fraught.
For with this gift, I’ll surely find,
A peaceful heart, a tranquil mind.
