In the mirror, I see me, yeah Me,
Just who I am, nothing more to be.
But wait, there’s more, I must believe,
In myself, I’ll find what I achieve.
In the mirror I make this declaration,
A Simple but a very powerful confession.
Some days are tough, I feel so small,
But deep inside, I stand tall.
Declaring I’m worth more than I may know,
My worth shines bright, it starts to show.
The Mistakes I’ve made, they’re in the past,
They don’t define me, they don’t last.
I’m learning and growing, day by day outgrowing my past,
My worth is mine, it’s here to stay and I wipe this dust away.
Through ups and downs, I’ll carry on,
My worth is steady, like the dawn.
I’ll embrace my flaws, they make me whole,
Each part of me, plays a very vital role.
I’ll love myself, just as I am,
For in my heart, I know I can.
No need to change how i was created, to fit some mold.
In case I change is to be better and bold,
My worth is priceless, more than gold.
So here’s to me, and all I’m worth,
A treasure chest, right here on Earth.
I’ll hold my head up, proud and true,
For I am me, and that’s my value.
