The Heart of a True Leader

A leader isn’t the loudest in the room,
Doesn’t stand on a pedestal, doesn’t assume.
A leader’s not a boss, not a whip-cracker,
But a servant, a guide, a true way maker.

They don’t bark orders from a throne,
They walk beside you, never alone.
Their power’s not in the force they wield,
But in the kindness they softly shield.

A leader listens, with both ears wide,
Understands the struggles you try to hide.
They don’t demand, but gently nudge,
When you fall, they never judge.

Their heart is open, their vision clear,
They face the storm, but never with fear.
They’re first to sacrifice, last to take,
Always thinking of the lives at stake.

A leader serves, doesn’t just command,
They know the power of an open hand.
They lift you up, when you’re feeling low,
They’re the steady anchor, in life’s ebb and flow.

It’s not about titles, or the crown they wear,
It’s about the love and the way they care.
A true leader leads with humility and grace,
Always putting others in the safest place.

So when you look for a leader, seek the one,
Who walks the path when the day is done.
Who leads with heart, with a servant’s touch,
That’s the leader we all need so much.
