Rape isn’t just a word,
It’s a wound that runs deep.
It leaves scars we can’t see,
In minds that can’t sleep.
It’s more than just pain,
It’s a crime, it’s a stain.
A violation of trust,
A loss too hard to explain.
We need to stop staying silent,
We need to raise our voice.
Because rape doesn’t just happen—
It’s a choice.
A choice to ignore the cries,
To pretend it’s not real.
But the victims are suffering,
With pain they can’t heal.
It’s not about what they wore,
It’s not about how they acted.
It’s about respect and consent,
And how someone’s humanity is attacked.
We must teach our boys and girls,
That “No” means “No.”
That respect is the only way,
That love never hurts or brings woe.
We need to believe survivors,
Not shame them, not blame.
They didn’t ask for this,
They carry no shame.
Let’s fight for a world,
Where rape is no more.
Where safety is certain,
Behind every door.
It starts with awareness,
It starts with us.
To stand up, to speak out,
And say enough is enough.
Because silence helps no one,
But action can heal.
Let’s fight for justice,
And make the world feel real.
So to the world, I say,
It’s time to take a stand.
End rape, end the violence,
And give love the upper hand.
