They say success is sweet,
but they never tell you about the sweat,
the nights you pray but don’t get an answer yet,
the times you fall and rise, just to fall again,
the voices in your head screaming, “Is this all in vain?”
But listen
there is no easy way, no shortcut, no cheat code.
You need to push through, carry your own load.
Because when God lifts you up,
He checks if you were willing to climb.
He won’t hand you a crown
if you never fought for the time.
What do you love?
Not just what pays the bills,
but what sets your soul on fire,
what gives your heart chills.
Do you wake up with passion or just go through the motions?
Are you chasing a paycheck or a purpose-driven notion?
Refine yourself. Reset.
Not every “yes” is meant for you, so learn to filter.
Not every voice speaks wisdom, some only whisper doubt.
Don’t just listen to people
listen carefully, figure it out.
Seek truth, seek growth, seek what’s real,
because people only respect what you carry, what you feel.
They say, “Just walk in,”
but doors don’t always open wide.
You have to knock, push, fight,
sometimes break inside.
Nobody gives you a seat at their table
you pull up your own chair.
Nobody hands you a space in their circle
you fight to be there.
And when you see where you’re going,
don’t get blinded by the view.
Because the process is tough,
and it will break you in two.
But if you stop in the middle,
if you quit when it’s rough,
you’ll never taste the victory,
you’ll never be enough.
So tell me, do you have what it takes?
Can you bleed for the dream?
Can you stand when the world
tries to tear you at the seams?
Expertise is what separates the weak from the great,
so don’t just wish for success
build, fight, create.
Ask God for wisdom,
not just to lead, but to last.
Ask Him for a strategy,
not just to run, but to outlast.
Because the best way to shine
is not to dim someone’s light,
it’s to do the best you can,
to stand firm and fight.
So get up.
Go hard.
Give it all that you’ve got.
Because success isn’t given
it’s fought for a lot.
