Chasing Likes and Losing Sight by Walking Shadow poetry.

In this world where numbers reign,
We chase the likes, ignore the pain.
Views and shares, they fill our days,
Yet deep inside, we’ve lost our ways.

We post our wins, we show our best,
We hide the times we failed the test.
With every click, we seek to prove,
Yet in our hearts, we barely move.

We count the followers, check the stats,
But never ask, “Where am I at?”
We crave applause, the world’s embrace,
Yet lose ourselves in that fast race.

What about growth, the unseen kind?
The one that builds a stronger mind?
The quiet steps, the battles fought,
The lessons life so dearly taught?

Not every win must meet the eye,
Not every dream needs wings to fly.
Some roads are walked in silent might,
Some victories bloom without the light.

So pause a while, just breathe, just be,
Not all success the world must see.
For in the end, when views are gone,
The realest prize is who you’ve become.
