{"id":2080,"date":"2024-02-07T14:02:22","date_gmt":"2024-02-07T14:02:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/walkingshadowpoetry.com\/blog\/?p=2080"},"modified":"2024-02-12T15:30:10","modified_gmt":"2024-02-12T15:30:10","slug":"brains-over-emotions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/walkingshadowpoetry.com\/blog\/brains-over-emotions\/","title":{"rendered":"Brains over Emotions."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In life&#8217;s journey, I&#8217;ve learned a truth,<br>To guide my steps in age and youth.<br>Emotions wild, they often sway,<br>But with my mind, I find my way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No longer lost in passion&#8217;s tide,<br>I let my intellect be my guide.<br>For every choice, I weigh and think,<br>Before I leap, before I sink.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not every heart can understand,<br>The wisdom in a steady hand.<br>But I have learned, through trial and strife,<br>The value of a thoughtful life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So when I face life&#8217;s twists and turns,<br>My logic shines, my spirit learns.<br>No longer ruled by whims alone,<br>My intellect has grown and shown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I walk a path both clear and bright,<br>With rationality as my light.<br>For though emotions have their place,<br>It&#8217;s reason that will win the race.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So let me not be led astray,<br>By fleeting feelings, come what may.<br>I&#8217;ll use my brains to chart my course,<br>And navigate life&#8217;s mighty force.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In every moment, every choice,<br>I&#8217;ll heed the wisdom of my voice.<br>With logic as my guiding star,<br>I&#8217;ll journey on, both near and far.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For I have learned, and I decree,<br>To not let emotions master me.<br>Instead, I&#8217;ll wield my mind with care,<br>And make decisions, strong and fair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, here&#8217;s to brains and sober thought,<br>In every battle, big or fraught.<br>For with this gift, I&#8217;ll surely find,<br>A peaceful heart, a tranquil mind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>by walking shadow poetry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\"><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In life&#8217;s journey, I&#8217;ve learned a truth,To guide my steps in age and youth.Emotions wild, they often sway,But with my mind, I find my way.
