{"id":2218,"date":"2024-05-30T17:13:03","date_gmt":"2024-05-30T17:13:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/walkingshadowpoetry.com\/blog\/?p=2218"},"modified":"2024-05-30T17:13:05","modified_gmt":"2024-05-30T17:13:05","slug":"power-of-words","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/walkingshadowpoetry.com\/blog\/power-of-words\/","title":{"rendered":"POWER OF WORDS."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In times of sadness, when we feel so low,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I share with you a spoken word to help us grow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When grief overwhelms, weighing on our chest,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let these words provide comfort, a gentle rest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Grief, an unwelcome visitor, knocks at our door,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A storm that shakes us, hurting to our core.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We stumble in the darkness, lost and confused,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wondering why this pain has been infused.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Losing a loved one leaves a deep void,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A wound that seems impossible to avoid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tears flow freely, emotions run high,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As we question and wonder, asking &#8220;Why?&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But in the midst of darkness, a glimmer of light,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A path to healing, slowly coming into sight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Grief, though painful, shows us how we cared,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A reminder of the love we once shared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So let&#8217;s embrace our pain, acknowledge our sorrow,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Knowing healing takes time, it won&#8217;t come by tomorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the silence of grief, let our voices be heard,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Expressing our emotions, sharing every word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gather the pieces of cherished memories past,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Weaving them together, creating memories to last.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sharing the stories of those we hold dear,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Their spirit lives on, even when they&#8217;re not here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Grief, a journey different for everyone&#8217;s heart,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A process we can&#8217;t rush or quickly restart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But as we navigate this painful terrain,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We find strength within us, to heal and regain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So let&#8217;s support one another, hand in hand,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finding solace together, a compassionate band.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Creating a sanctuary where love can be found,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Supporting each other, in grief&#8217;s healing ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>May we find comfort in our shared community,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shouldering each other&#8217;s burdens with unity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As we emerge from grief&#8217;s darkest night,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We&#8217;ll find resilience, bathed in newfound light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So let these words be a soothing balm for your soul,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reminding you that healing will make you whole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the face of grief, we&#8217;ll rise and transcend,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For love extends even through loss, my friend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For in times of sadness, when our hearts ache,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let these simple words guide us and awake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through healing, acceptance, and finding relief,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We navigate our grief, finding solace and belief.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By Walking Shadow Poetry Kenya.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In times of sadness, when we feel so low, I share with you a spoken word to help us grow.
