{"id":2585,"date":"2024-09-03T14:31:18","date_gmt":"2024-09-03T14:31:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/walkingshadowpoetry.com\/blog\/?p=2585"},"modified":"2024-09-03T14:31:20","modified_gmt":"2024-09-03T14:31:20","slug":"the-mighty-fall-by-walking-shadow-poetry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/walkingshadowpoetry.com\/blog\/the-mighty-fall-by-walking-shadow-poetry\/","title":{"rendered":"The mighty Fall by walking shadow poetry."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>From a small, dusty place where dreams felt far,<br>He rose from the ground, reaching for a star,<br>Hunger was his friend, but hope held him tight,<br>He worked through the night, chasing a light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He worked and he fought, when others would rest,<br>He dreamed of a future, of having the best,<br>He climbed to the top, from a world that was rough,<br>With hard work and struggle, he finally had enough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But as he grew richer, his pride took hold,<br>He forgot where he came from, turned bitter and cold,<br>He looked down on the past, on those who once cared,<br>And let anger and revenge make his heart bare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He thought he was powerful, above it all,<br>But inside his heart, a great sadness would fall,<br>He wanted to pay back those who doubted his way,<br>With harsh words and actions that led him astray.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He lost the love that once made him feel whole,<br>Friends who had been close, now out of his soul,<br>He won many battles, but lost what was dear,<br>And in the end, found no comfort, only fear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One day everything fell apart, like dust in the wind,<br>The wealth and the fame were no longer his friends,<br>Alone with his sorrow, with tears in his eyes,<br>He saw too late the cost of his pride.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now he walks with a heavy heart, feeling regret,<br>For in chasing his dreams, he lost what he\u2019d bet,<br>In the quiet of night, he mourns what\u2019s gone,<br>A life once so bright, now a sad, empty song.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From a small, dusty place where dreams felt far,He rose from the ground, reaching for a star,Hunger was his friend, but hope held him tight,He worked through the night, chasing a light.
