{"id":2722,"date":"2024-09-26T14:53:22","date_gmt":"2024-09-26T14:53:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/walkingshadowpoetry.com\/blog\/?p=2722"},"modified":"2024-09-26T14:53:24","modified_gmt":"2024-09-26T14:53:24","slug":"i-survived-by-walking-shadow-poetry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/walkingshadowpoetry.com\/blog\/i-survived-by-walking-shadow-poetry\/","title":{"rendered":"I Survived by walking shadow poetry"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>It happened in a moment,<br>Something I couldn&#8217;t stop.<br>In that instant, my world broke,<br>From the pain of that awful shock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I was left with pieces to pick,<br>Alone, hurt, and lost.<br>Carrying a weight so heavy,<br>Feeling like everything was my fault.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I didn\u2019t know who to tell,<br>Or if anyone would care.<br>Would they think it was my fault?<br>Would they judge me, would they stare?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shame wrapped around me tightly,<br>A secret I couldn&#8217;t hide.<br>The memory haunted my thoughts,<br>And all I wanted was to cry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But this is my story,<br>And I won\u2019t stay quiet.<br>I\u2019m more than what happened to me,<br>I\u2019ll rise above, I\u2019ll fight it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They took something from me,<br>But they didn\u2019t take my heart.<br>I\u2019m still here, still breathing,<br>And I\u2019m healing, part by part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some days are still hard,<br>Sometimes I still cry.<br>But I refuse to let this break me,<br>I\u2019m learning to hold my head high.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To anyone who\u2019s been through this,<br>I know your pain, I see your tears.<br>But you are not broken forever,<br>And your worth will always be clear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What happened wasn\u2019t your fault,<br>You didn\u2019t deserve that pain.<br>Your body, your mind, your soul,<br>None of it belongs to their shame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some days will feel heavy,<br>The hurt will be hard to carry.<br>But you\u2019re stronger than you think,<br>And there are people who will help you, truly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Take time to heal at your pace,<br>There\u2019s no rush, no need to hurry.<br>You\u2019re allowed to feel, allowed to cry,<br>You don\u2019t have to bury your worry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I won\u2019t let the past control me,<br>I\u2019m taking back my life.<br>I survived, I\u2019m surviving,<br>And I will thrive despite the strife.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This body is mine,<br>And I claim it with pride.<br>They tried to break me,<br>But I stand tall, unbroken inside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I survived, and so will you,<br>Because we\u2019re more than what was done.<br>Our spirits may be scarred,<br>But our journey has just begun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You are strong, brave, and full of light,<br>No one can take that away.<br>So rise, dear survivor,<br>We\u2019ll find hope again someday.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It happened in a moment,Something I couldn&#8217;t stop.In that instant, my world broke,From the pain of that awful shock.
