{"id":3132,"date":"2025-03-24T12:13:21","date_gmt":"2025-03-24T12:13:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/walkingshadowpoetry.com\/blog\/?p=3132"},"modified":"2025-03-24T12:13:48","modified_gmt":"2025-03-24T12:13:48","slug":"recognition-vs-results-by-walking-shadow-poetry-kenya","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/walkingshadowpoetry.com\/blog\/recognition-vs-results-by-walking-shadow-poetry-kenya\/","title":{"rendered":"Recognition and Results by Walking Shadow Poetry Kenya"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In this world we live in,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Where screens glow brighter than real conversations,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Where clicks speak louder than silent dedication,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It feels like everyone\u2019s chasing something,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But not always the right thing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We want to be seen,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We want to be heard,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We want the world to notice our existence,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As if our worth depends on digital applause,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As if validation comes wrapped in likes, views, and follows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We post to prove,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not always to improve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We capture moments,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But forget to live in them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s funny, isn&#8217;t it?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How we measure success by numbers on a screen,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yet personal growth?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That stays behind the scenes,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hidden, unspoken, unseen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We chase platforms,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Opportunities to shine,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But somewhere along the way,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We lose ourselves in the spotlight,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Trying so hard to be recognized,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That we forget to recognize who we really are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We record everything,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From milestones to mistakes,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hoping the world will clap,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hoping someone will say,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;I see you.
