In the depths of struggle, where shadows dwell,
Addiction’s hold so tight, a relentless painful swell.
But in the heart, a flicker of light,
A beacon of hope, burning so bright.
To overcome, one must first see,
The chains that bind, the pain they decree.
Acceptance is key, to acknowledge the fight,
To confront the demon, with all your might.
In the grip of addiction, life can seem bleak,
Every day feels like a mountain peak.
But deep within, a spark remains despite feeling weak,
A desire for freedom, to break the chains.
Take small steps, one at a time,
Slowly but surely, you’ll start to climb.
Reach out for help, don’t go it alone,
In the journey to recovery, you’re not on your own.
Seek support, from those who care,
A friend, a loved one, always there.
Together, you’re stronger, united as one,
Facing the battle, until it’s done.
Find strength in stories, of those who’ve been through,
Their struggles, their triumphs, inspiring you.
Learn from the past, but don’t dwell in regret,
The future is yours, don’t ever forget.
Replace the void, with healthy ways,
Hobbies, passions, filling your days.
Mindfulness, therapy, tools in your hand,
Building resilience, to help you withstand.
Celebrate progress, no matter how small,
Each victory counts, it’s a sign of your call.
To a life of fulfillment, free from addiction’s hold,
A journey of healing, courageous and bold.
Remember, you’re worthy of love and care,
Your life has value, beyond compare.
Keep moving forward, with hope as your guide,
Overcoming addiction, with faith as your stride.
It’s not easy, the road is rough,
But with each step, you’re getting tough.
One day at a time, you’ll find your way,
Overcoming addiction, starting today.
