In life’s journey, listen closely to what’s said,
“The poison won’t hurt you,” it’s often spread.
But remember well, there’s truth in this phrase,
In the choices you make, in life’s winding maze.
A sip, a taste, temptation can call,
It might seem harmless, but it’s a close fall.
In this world of light and shadowy hue,
Our decisions shape what we go through.
At every step, there’s a choice to make,
To stand tall or falter, to give or take.
For poison hides in the things we desire,
But only when we let it in does it conspire.
So pay attention, let wisdom lead,
In each moment, consider what you need.
Though poison may tempt with its deadly spell,
It’s up to you whether to bid it farewell.
The poison won’t harm you if you don’t partake,
So choose wisely, for your own sake.
In the end, it’s your path to mend,
So tread carefully, my dear friend.
