father and child having fun on the beach

FATHERS POEM.

In the realm of fatherhood, where untold stories reside,

I present to you a spoken word journey, a heartfelt ride.

For just five minutes, let’s dive into this world profound,

Where fathers’ untold stories deserve to be renowned.

Close your eyes and envision a father’s embrace,

A comforting presence, a safe haven, a space.

Late at night, he cradles a child with care,

Whispering lullabies, banishing any nightmare.

Through sleepless nights and weary days,

He weaves love and patience in countless ways.

Bandaging scraped knees, mending broken hearts,

Teaching life’s lessons, preparing for life’s charts.

In the playground, laughter rings in the air,

He’s there, pushing swings, letting go without a care.

Cheering on victories, wiping away tears,

An unwavering pillar in the face of fears.

But within this narrative, a tale unfolds,

Of struggles and sacrifices, rarely told.

For societal expectations can be a heavy chain,

A father’s voice often silenced, an echo in vain.

In a world that demands strength and unwavering might,

He fights his battles alone, deep in the night.

Navigating through expectations and social norms,

He braves the storms silently, his struggles taking form.

Let’s pause for a moment and listen with care,

To the untold stories that fathers rarely share.

Their journey is vast, their devotion profound,

As we give voice to their tales, let empathy resound.

For five minutes, let’s honor these unsung heroes,

Whose stories are woven with love that never slows.

They carry burdens, they bear a heavy load,

In this grand tapestry of life, their stories bestowed.

So, raise your voices and let their stories be heard,

The narratives of fathers, both spoken and unheard.

May their struggles find solace, their voices prevail,

As we celebrate their fatherhood, their untold tale.

In this journey of fatherhood, where untold stories reside,

May we remember the love and sacrifices, side by side.

For in their nurturing embrace, future generations grow,

And their untold stories shape a world we all can know.
