Get Off the Train by walking shadow poetry.

You’ve been riding for miles,
Hoping the view will change,
But deep down, you know
This path isn’t yours to take.
The signs are clear, the stops are there,
Yet you sit still, holding on to hope
That doesn’t feel the same anymore.

I see you, holding your heart close,
Afraid to admit it’s time to go.
But listen, love, the longer you stay,
The more it will cost you
Not just in time, but in pieces of yourself
That you’ll leave behind
At every station you pass.

It’s okay to get off now,
To stand up and walk away
From the seat that’s held your dreams
For far too long.
It’s not defeat, it’s not failure
It’s courage to choose yourself
Over a journey that’s leading you astray.

There’s another train waiting,
One that will take you where you belong,
But you can’t find it if you stay stuck
In a ride that drains you
With every mile.

So take a deep breath,
Stand tall, and step off.
The price of staying
Is far too high,
But the reward of leaving
Is the chance to start again
On a track that feels right,
Where your heart can finally rest
And be at peace.
