Leave behind the ones who made you feel small.
Don’t look back for those who gave you every reason to crumble,
When there’s someone now who lifts you up,
Who accepts you, scars and all.

Forgive the ones who left,
But don’t forget how they let you fall.
You reached out, you apologized, you tried to fix it,
But nothing changed they still chose someone else,
While you stood alone, waiting, hurting,
Feeling like love was a game you’d always lose.

Now, if someone new sees your worth,
If they take your pain, your mess, your flaws,
And call them beautiful,
If they love you unconditionally,
Hold them close.
They’re the one who deserves your everything,
Because they gave you reason to believe again,
To see life in color once more.

Don’t go back to the ones who only see your value,
Once you’ve built yourself back up,
Once you’ve found someone willing to hold your heart gently.
You are not something tossed aside,
