man on roof before jump

Please Stay by walking shadow poetry.

I see the weight you’re holding,
The pain you hide inside,
Life hasn’t been fair to you,
It’s been a rough, hard ride.

You’ve been knocked down so many times,
Fighting just to stand,
And it feels like no one’s there,
To reach out and hold your hand.

I know you’re tired, I know you’re hurt,
And it’s hard to carry on,
But please, just hear me out,
You matter, even when it feels all wrong.

Your heart is heavy, your mind is tired,
But you are more than your pain,
There’s more to your story,
Even if it’s hard to see through the rain.

It’s okay to feel lost sometimes,
It’s okay to want to cry,
But don’t let this be the end,
Please, just give life one more try.

I know the dark feels endless now,
Like it’s closing in too fast,
But there are brighter days ahead,
This pain, it will not last.

You’ve made it through so much before,
You’re stronger than you know,
Even when it’s hard to see,
Your strength continues to grow.

You don’t have to do it all today,
You don’t have to have it right,
Just hold on a little longer,
And see tomorrow’s light.

There are people who will love you,
Even when you can’t see it yet,
Your presence matters in this world,
And no one else could ever forget.

So please, just stay a little more,
Take it minute by minute,
There’s hope, even if it’s hiding,
And I know you’ll find it.

You are needed, you are loved,
More than words can ever say,
The world is better with you here,
So please, my friend, just stay.
