In the quiet moments of the day, I yearn,
A secret love within me starts to burn.
My heart sings melodies when you draw near,
Yet I’m held back by hesitation and fear.
Your laughter, a symphony in my soul,
Yet my feelings I can’t seem to control.
From afar, I watch you with gentle eyes,
Longing to reveal my heartfelt sighs.
I write these lines, a silent confession,
Hoping to convey my affection’s impression.
Each word a whisper, each verse a dance,
Hoping you’ll see my longing glance.
But my courage falters, my words evade,
And so this poem remains, quietly laid.
A love untold, but strong and true,
Waiting for the moment to come to you.
In dreams, I find the strength to speak,
But in reality, my courage feels weak.
I wish to tell you of this love I hold,
But fear of rejection leaves me cold.
So here I keep this poem close to my heart,
A silent testament to our love’s start.
Though my words may falter, my feelings are clear,
For you’ve captured my heart, my dear.
