Silent Love Poem

I see you every day,
Your smile lights up the room,
But you don’t know the way
My heart beats just for you.

I speak to you in passing,
Our words are always light,
But hidden in my laughter
Is a love I can’t ignite.

You talk about your dreams,
The things that make you whole,
And while you share your stories,
I wish I could share my soul.

I wonder if you notice,
The way my eyes linger too long,
Or the way my voice softens
When I hear your favorite song.

You laugh, and I’m entranced,
You cry, and I feel your pain,
But you don’t see the longing,
In my eyes, like falling rain.

I dream of what could be,
If you only knew the truth,
That every time I look at you,
I see a future I want to choose.

But I stay silent,
Afraid of what you’d say,
If you knew how deeply
I feel this way.

So, I keep my secret,
Locked tight inside my heart,
Loving you from a distance,
Even though it tears me apart.

Maybe one day,
I’ll find the courage to speak,
But until then, I’ll cherish
Every moment, every peek.

Of the love I have for you,
Though you’ll never know,
I’ll carry it with me,
Wherever I go.

Because loving you in silence,
Is better than not at all,
And even if you never know,
For you, I’ll always fall.
