The powerful worst struggles in life

I woke up one morning feeling like life had pressed pause on me.

Same prayers. Same struggles. Same unanswered questions.

I smiled in public, but inside I was tired…
tired of waiting, tired of wondering, tired of asking God “how long?”

Because from where I stood, it looked like nothing was changing.

Doors were still closed.
Dreams still distant.
And silence… still loud.

And I started thinking, maybe God has forgotten my name.

Maybe He heard me once and decided not to respond.
Maybe I’m praying too late… or too little… or not enough.

But then life kept moving, even when I felt stuck.

And in the middle of that silence, something deeper began to happen.

Not outside of me… but inside of me.

Because while I was waiting for God to change my situation,
God was changing me.

He was teaching me how to stand when nothing makes sense.
How to trust when nothing is visible.
How to believe when feelings are failing.

And I didn’t notice it at first.

But I was becoming stronger in places I used to break.
Calmer in storms that used to shake me.
Steadier in seasons that used to destroy me.

And slowly I realized…

Maybe this is not punishment.
Maybe this is preparation.

Maybe the delay I complained about
was actually development in disguise.

Because God does not ignore His children.
He refines them.

He doesn’t just open doors, He prepares the one who walks through them.
He doesn’t just give answers, He builds the faith to handle them.

And so even in the waiting, even in the silence, even in the confusion…

I learned this truth: God is not absent in my struggle.
He is active in my transformation.

And one day, when everything finally aligns,
I will look back at this season and understand…

He was not late.
He was not silent.
He was not distant.

He was working on me
