To the One Who’s Been Betrayed by walking shadow poetry.

I know the pain, the hurt that you feel,
When someone you trusted wasn’t real.
The sting of betrayal cuts so deep,
It makes you question the love you keep.

But listen, dear one, don’t close your heart,
Though it feels like you’re falling apart.
The pain will pass, though it may take time,
And trust will return, slow but in its prime.

It’s okay to be cautious, okay to be scared,
But don’t let betrayal leave you impaired.
Not everyone’s like the one who lied,
There are still good souls who stand by your side.

Take the time you need to heal,
Feel the hurt, but don’t let it steal
The goodness in you, the light you hold,
You’re worth so much more than this story told.

Lean on those who prove they care,
The ones who’ve shown they’ll always be there.
And remember, betrayal says more about them,
It doesn’t define who you are, my friend.

Your heart is strong, even though it’s bruised,
It’s resilient, even though it’s been used.
You’ll love again, trust again too,
And when you do, it will be true.

So, take this time to rest and repair,
But don’t lose hope, love is still out there.
You’re not broken, just healing from the pain,
And one day, you’ll trust without feeling the strain.
