A leader isn’t the loudest voice,
Doesn’t stand on high with an air of choice.
They don’t walk around with a heavy hand,
But kneel down low to help you stand.
A leader’s not a boss, not one to command,
They don’t rule from afar, but they understand.
They know the power isn’t in control,
But in the strength of a caring soul.
They’re not just the face you see at the top,
They’re the ones who never stop.
Who listen closely, with all their might,
Who see your struggle, who share your fight.
When the road is rough, and you’ve lost your way,
A leader is there, night or day.
They don’t just point, telling you to go,
They walk beside you, steady and slow.
They’re the first to serve, the last to speak,
They carry your burden when you’re feeling weak.
They don’t just watch from a distant throne,
They get their hands dirty, they’re never alone.
A leader doesn’t boast of what they’ve done,
They shine the light on everyone.
They lift you up, let you take the lead,
They plant the seeds, they let you succeed.
It’s not about power, or the crown they wear,
It’s about the love and how much they care.
They give their time, their heart, their ear,
They stay close by, they draw you near.
They don’t need titles or loud applause,
They work for others, not for a cause.
They don’t demand, they gently guide,
They walk the talk, they stay by your side.
A leader sees beyond their own gain,
They feel your joy, they share your pain.
They know the weight of every tear,
They calm your doubts, they chase your fear.
They’re the ones who see you, not just a face,
Who know your name, who give you grace.
They don’t rush ahead, leaving you behind,
They’re patient, they’re present, they’re always kind.
They teach by showing, not by telling,
Their wisdom is in the life they’re selling.
They know that leadership isn’t about might,
But about doing what’s true, what’s right.
So when you look for someone to lead,
Find the one who plants the seed,
Of hope, of trust, of unity,
Who serves with love and humility.
A true leader isn’t about being the best,
But about giving others their rest.
They take the fall so you can rise,
They see the world through your eyes.
In the end, it’s not about the crown,
But how they lift you when you’re down.
A leader’s heart is what you’ll find,
In every act that’s gentle and kind.
They don’t need power to be strong,
They’ve known the truth all along.
A leader serves, with an open hand,
That’s the mark of a leader who truly understands.
