Unsealed Lips.

In childhood’s land, where secrets kept,

My lips are sealed, the tears I wept.

In shadows deep, my heart confined,

A tale of wounds, a troubled mind.

The playground’s laughter, skies so bright,

Yet hidden battles, out of sight.

My lips are sealed, they dare not speak,

Of scars that linger, wounds so deep.

Innocence lost, too soon it seems,

A world of pain, in childhood dreams.

My lips are sealed, but through my eyes,

You’ll glimpse the past, where darkness lies.

The monsters, both real and in my head,

A whispered fear, a silent dread.

My lips are sealed, yet in my stare,

You’ll find the pain, the burden I bear.

But as I grow, in healing’s grace,

I’ll find the strength to find my place.

My lips may part, the truth revealed,

As childhood’s traumas slowly healed.

For in the silence, a voice will rise,

To break the chains, to clear the skies.

My lips unsealed, I’ll find my way,

To brighter, happier, sunlit day.
