WOMANHOOD by walking shadow poetry.

To the Woman I Was
I love you.
You carried the weight of worlds you didn’t deserve,
Fought battles no one saw,
And stood tall even when you felt like crumbling.
You made choices that weren’t perfect,
But they were yours,
And they led me here.
You did the best you could with what you had,
And I honor you for that.

To the Woman I Am
I’m proud of you.
You’ve learned to rise,
Even when the ground beneath you trembled.
You’ve faced fears head-on,
Turned scars into stories,
And doubts into determination.
You’re not perfect
But you’re real,
And that’s more than enough.
You’ve shown up for yourself,
And for that, I stand in amazement of you.

To the Woman I’m Becoming
I’m excited for you.
The world has no idea what’s coming,
Because you’re stepping into your power.
You’re shedding the old,
Embracing the new,
And chasing dreams with a fire in your soul.
I don’t know exactly who you’ll be,
But I know this:
You’ll be unstoppable,
And you’ll make me proud all over again.

To the past, the present, and the future
I love you,
I’m proud of you,
And I can’t wait to see you soar.
