We write our stories,
Even when life throws storms our way.
We take each struggle, each heartbreak,
And turn them into chapters of resilience.
Sometimes, the road feels lonely,
And the weight of the world presses on our shoulders.
So many have walked away,
Leaving us to fight battles they didn’t believe we’d win.
But here we stand bruised, maybe, but not broken.
We move forward, step by step,
Through the pain, the doubt, the fear.
We don’t stop, even when the path is unclear.
Because deep down, we know
Every step matters, every effort counts.
Progress isn’t always fast or pretty,
But it’s in the little victories,
The moments no one sees
When we choose to try again,
When we rise after every fall.
One day, we’ll have stories to tell.
Not just of success, but of the times we almost gave up,
And the strength it took to keep going.
We’ll tell of the nights spent crying,
And the mornings we wiped our tears,
Ready to face the world again.
So many people have or will give up on us
Friends, family, even those we trusted the most.
But we refuse to give up on ourselves.
Because if we don’t believe in us, who will?
It’s not about perfection; it’s about persistence.
It’s about showing up, even when it hurts.
It’s about knowing that we are more than our failures,
More than the doubts others place on us.
And through it all, we hold on to hope,
Because we know God is able.
Able to restore what’s broken,
Able to give strength when we feel weak,
Able to turn our stories into testimonies.
So, we’ll keep writing,
Even when the ink smudges and the pages tear.
We’ll keep moving,
Even when the journey feels uphill.
And one day, we’ll look back,
Proud of the story we’ve written,
Grateful for the grace that carried us through.
